Yamato: The Drummers of Japan

Witness the staggering display of physical strength that has captivated over 6 million people across 54 countries. On stage, Yamato: The Drummers of Japan stand with more than 40 Taiko drums. The largest, called “Odaiko”, was produced from a huge tree over 400 years old, is approximately two meters in diameter, and weighs over 1,000 lbs. Their brand new show, “Hito no Chikaroa” )The Power of Human Strength) pushes the performers to their limits as they use their entire bodies to produce thunderous music that will leave you exhilarated by the spectacular, high-energy, and explosive performance.
