UP Health – Portage Health and Safety Fair

UP Health System – Portage is hosting a free Health and Safety Fair for community members at the main hospital campus. Learn about the importance of health screenings, enjoy a quick tour of our facility and participate in fun activities with your family.
The event will feature:
Health Screenings
Medical helicopter, ambulance, fire truck, police car tours and visit with K9 service animals
Blood typing
Operating Room tour
Dunk-a-Doctor (fundraiser for Omega House)
Face painting
Appearance from MTU’s mascot, Blizzard
“Boo-boo clinic”
Free giveaway
Opportunity to meet health professionals from different local organizations including Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center, Western Upper Peninsula Health Department, Keweenaw Family Resource Center and many others
