The Rise, Fall, and Revival of a Mining Town

Learn how Calumet’s downtown mirrored the success of the Calumet and Hecla Mining Company, and how it survives today. Meet at the Keweenaw National Historical Park Calumet Visitor Center. Ranger programs last about one hour and cover approximately one mile. Water and sunscreen are recommended. In the event of inclement weather or staffing shortages, programs will be canceled.
