Rocks and Minerals of the Western U.P.

This will be the first of six session discussing rocks and minerals of the Keweenaw, leading up to the Institute of Lake Superior Geology meeting scheduled for Houghton in mid-May. Doors open at 6:30, and the seminar will begin at 7 at the Carnegie Museum in Houghton. This session will feature Bill Rose, with “Omars and Yooperlites—tracers of glacial paths.” For more details, click here.
