Planning/Paying for College Night

January 17 @ 5:30 pm EST

A Planning and Paying for College Night for families of 11th and 12th graders will be held at the MTU Memorial Union Building. This free program is designed for all students, not just those thinking about attending MTU. 
Parking and a pizza buffet dinner will be available during the event at no cost.
Schedule of Events:
5:30 – 6:00 pm: Sign in and enjoy a pizza buffet dinner
6:00 – 8:10 pm: Concurrent sessions will be offered to choose from, including “Getting an FSAID/Filling out the FAFSA”, “Scholarship Searches,” “Finding Your College Fit and Major,” “Interpreting Your Financial Aid,” “Applying for College and the Common App,” “Identifying Support Resources for Students and Parents,” and more!
6:00 – 8:10 pm: TRIO college advisors will be available for one-on-one FAFSA counseling sessions
Also, the Michigan Tech Mind Trekkers will offer a free Kid Fun Zone with supervised STEM activities for siblings ages 6 and up to enjoy during the event.
