Pasture Walk

Frank Wardynski will be hosting a pasture walk at 18360 Firesteel Rd, in Ontonagon.
He will talk about new grazing practices that he learned at a Soil Health Academy that discusses management for regenerative agriculture. Discussion will include both the grazing practices along with the tools and methods used to evaluate soil health, along with a look at soil dug up with a spade and water infiltration and comparing various grazing practices. There are challenges and drawbacks to these grazing practices.
The educational content will be directed towards farmers interested in grazing livestock and improving soil health, however, any non-farmers wanting attend to learn more about how their food is grown are more than welcome.
