Parade of Nations

This year’s parade of nations’ theme is “Holidays Around the World.” Parade walkers will begin the official parade through the Michigan Tech campus. Parade floats will line up at the stop sign at the Cliff Drive and College Avenue intersection while the walkers approach. As the parade walkers pass through the new Alumni Gateway Arch onto College Avenue, parade guides will direct floats to join, alternating walkers and floats.
The route will take the full mixed parade all along College Avenue through downtown Houghton, turn right onto Quincy Street, and then make another right onto Lakeshore Drive. The parade will end at Dee Stadium for food and entertainment.
