Maasto Hiihto Trails Work Session

The Hancock Trails Club will host a work bee at the Maasto Hiihto Trails. The goal is to clear a segment of the Creekside Trail in the Swedetown Gorge, in anticipation of grooming the trail this coming winter for the first time in five years. Help is needed to run weed whackers, do some lopping and just dragging cut material off the trail.
Meet at the Tomasi Road trailhead parking lot at 9 am Saturday, and proceed to the work area from there. Bring water, a snack and work gloves. The club will provide tools. They hope to be done by 1 pm. If you have any questions contact John Diebel (john.diebel@sbcglobal.net 906-281-1486). Advance registration is not required, but would be helpful for planning purposes.
In the meantime remember the Swedetown Gorge trails remain closed to other traffic.
