Lift Bridge Lane Closures
June 4, 2024
Crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing routine Houghton-Hancock Bridge inspections, which will require intermittent closures. The work is weather dependent.
• Monday, June 3rd: The outside northbound lane of US-41/M-26 will be closed from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 4th: The outside southbound lane of US-41/M-26 will be closed from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 5th: Northbound or southbound right-lane closures may be needed from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., contingent on weather or other delays.
