LaFernier Memorial Walk

The 14th annual Chelsea LaFernier Memorial Walk against domestic violence will be held in Baraga. Registration will open at 11:00 at the corner of McGillan and Lyons Streets. The walk will start at noon. The walk will conclude at the Niiwin Akeea center, with a guest speaker, feast, drumming and 50/50 raffle.
All community residents are invited. The walk is held in honor of Chelsea LaFernier, a KBIC Tribal member who was killed by her abuser.
