Keweenaw Lions Club Meeting

The Keweenaw Lions Club will hold its monthly meeting at Slim’s in Mohawk. The meeting begins at 6:30 and includes dinner.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Lauren Jescovitch who works as an Extension Educator in the Houghton/Hancock area. Lauren’s work focuses on state and tribal aquaculture and fisheries, HACCP, water quality, and needs assessments. Lauren also has an office at the Great Lakes Research Center where she collaborates with researchers from Michigan Tech University. All Keweenaw Lions Club members are encouraged to attend as well as anyone interested in learning more about the club.
Lions Club is the world’s largest service club organization, helping the local community. New members are always welcomed.
