How a Scribbler Bends and Blends Time, Memory, and History into Fiction

July 19 @ 7:00 pm EDT

The Keweenaw County Historical Society hosts “How a Scribbler Bends and Blends Time, Memory, and History into Fiction,” presented by author Joseph Heywood.
Man is a story-telling animal and mankind lives by its stories. Both the historian & historical fiction writer use the same ingredients to make different concoctions. They follow similar paths for different purposes.  The amount, degree & kinds of history woven into our lives is immense and all around us, but often unrecognized for what it is. Join Author Joseph Heywood to hear how the history embedded in everyday life shapes his writing.
There is a $6.00 fee ($5.00 for KCHS members) payable at the door.
