Houghton Waterfront Clean-Up

Visit Keweenaw and the city of Houghton are pleased to announce a combined “Houghton Earth Day Cleanup” effort for Earth Day. Volunteers can devote two hours of their time to help clean up and beautify the Houghton Waterfront. The Portage Lake District Library will host rock painting during the same timeframe. Cleanup includes a beautification project planting flowers and fixing up flowerbeds. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but children should be accompanied by an adult.
