• 10 am-3 pm – Tori markets at the Finnish American Heritage Center and the United Methodist Church.
• 11 am – Parade on Quincy Street, with prizes for top entries.
After parade, join the Spiral Bear Dance, kick sled races (for kids) and wife carrying contest (for adults) on Quincy Green.
• 2:30-4 pm – Animal Life: Art from the Kalevala opening reception at the Copper Country Community Arts Center.
• 3:00 pm – Sauna Week Forum at the First United Methodist Church in Hancock. Finlandia Foundation Lecturer of the Year Eero Kilpi will discuss “Sauna Lost in Translation: Restoring Finnishness to a Global Tradition.”
• 7-10 pm – Iltamat (dance and light buffet) – $15 per person at the Finnish American Heritage Center, with music by the Back Room Boys.
