A Community Grief Awareness event toprovide grief education and support to the community will be heldSaturday, September 30, 2023, from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at St. Peter andPaul Lutheran Church, 1010 Madeleine Street, Houghton. Mark Miron will provide a keynote,Grief in Motion by Roberta Rosenberger and Grief 101 will be providedfor all adult participants. Adult participants will then have anopportunity to attend two breakout sessions. Youth will have theirown sessions divided into two groups: K-6th and 7th– 12th grade. Education and activities will focus onidentifying grief, telling their story, adapting to loss, andconnecting with others. Questions and closing remarks will end theevent.
