Be Kind To Your Mind Youth Fair
February 22 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST
Teens are invited to the second annual Be Kind to Your Mind Youth Fair at the Little Gem Community Center. Highlights include:
- A sound bath from Jenny Ciurro.
- Kickboxing tutorials with Stewart Krumm.
- Speaking and temporary tattoos by Michelle Frederick from Impaled Tattoo.
- A painting class by local artist Kendra Joy Kotila.
- Growing your own plant with Debbie Haataja.
- Mindfulness Through Art with a charcoal sketch class with Jessica Porter.
- Speaking by the Nic Wilson.
- Karaoke with the Greenstone Runners.
- Games, mindfulness through journaling, and calming techniques with local practitioners.
Food and Drinks will be provided as well as prize drawings. There will be a parent Cafe sponsored by the CCISD as well as the SCAPC. Parking is available at the rear of the building.
The program has been put together by Keweenaw Support for Healthy Minds.
